But how else will I explore the backstory behind SSJ5 Piccolo???
This thread has made me contemplate using RMVX. If only someone could tell me how to import original tilesets and actually use them, because when I tried (for only about 2 minutes I'll admit) I couldn't figure out how to do that.
Dungeon Design ~Where is Brickroad when you need him?~
I'm actually a math major and never have I needed super duper complex algorithms to make puzzles in my RPG's (and I love puzzles so I design them frequently). My favorite variation is one where you have a pattern of switches, all of them with a certain function (for example, they all toggle the switches adjacent to it) and the objective is to get all the switches down. It's very easy to make, and the puzzles themselves can sometimes be fiendishly difficult.
Brick Road, I like your style - I'm sure one day you'll be the best mix between a dungeon and a human that the world has ever seen.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO SCRIPT TO USE RMVX
Not completely but if you want to make a fairly advanced game it's necessary isn't it..? Like if you want a side view battle system or a number of other things I'm pretty sure you need scripting - again I have about 1% of an idea of what I'm talking about so feel free to contradict me - but what are the things you need scripting to be able to do? For those of us not trying to make epic DBZ fan games, is it a necessity or not?

I can't think of a bug in rm2k3 that can't be fixed somehow without too much trouble, then again I haven't gotten all of the bugs that people complain about.
Darken do you know exactly how much chipset space you get using RMVX (I could check but I'd have to download it or god forbid, use google)? When I first saw it it didn't seem like enough for an entire 20+ hour game (at least on the lower layer) but my memory might just be fuzzy.
rm2k3 holds a special place in my heart because I don't understand scripting and it seems scary to me. Oh and I like how pixelated the graphics are <333

The file size is pretty intimidating, I know. I think one of the sound effects (50 KB) is the biggest file (other than the main map which is like 300 KB)
